Our status under HIPAA
Perez Landscaping LLC is a landscaping contractor, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. We are therefore not a "covered entity" under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and we do not request protected health information (PHI).
Please do not send health information
Our estimate form and AI chat assistant are designed to collect contact and project details only. Please do not include medical conditions, diagnoses, insurance numbers, or other health information in messages to us.
Accessibility and accommodation requests
If you need an accommodation, such as an accessible walkway, ramp-friendly hardscape, or scheduling around a medical need, you can simply describe the accommodation you need. You do not need to share any diagnosis or medical records.
If health information is shared
If health related information is shared with us voluntarily, we treat it as confidential, use it only to fulfill the request, limit access to the people who need it, and delete it on request. We safeguard it with the same encryption and access controls described in our Privacy Policy.
Commercial work at healthcare facilities
When we perform landscaping or snow removal at clinics, hospitals, or care facilities, our crew does not access patient records or PHI. If a facility requires a business associate agreement or site confidentiality agreement, we will review it on request.
